Projects that the Friends have worked on:

Annual spring trail clean-up
Annual spring sweeping of gravel township roads intersections
Annual partnering with the DNR to provide toilet(s) during the summer season
2018 Winsted Directional Signage:
- Partnered with the City of Winsted, the Winsted Chamber of Commerce and McLeod County to provide directional signs through Winsted.
2019 Tree Planting:
- Partnered with the SnoPros, the City of Hutchinson and the DNR to plant trees and shrubs along Highway 7 west of the underpass.

2020 Silver Lake Bike Repair “Fix-It” Station and Air Pump:
- Partnered with the Meeker-McLeod-Sibley Statewide Health Improvement Program (SHIP) Leadership Team and the DNR to provide a bike repair station at the Silver Lake trail head.
2022 Held Our First Photo Contest
2023 Co-sponsored the Parks & Trails Council on Minnesota’s Scavenger Hunt for the section of the Luce Line from Winsted to Cedar Mills. We also held our 2nd annual Photo Contest
